Update!

September 5, 2009 Mason was baptized by his father Andy.

Apparently I have been told at how horrible I am at updating this blog. I have almost just given up on it. But here goes on a lame attempt at a Wimmer update. Early in September Mason was baptized. It was a neat experience. He is a good boy and a good example to my other kids. I am greatful that he is in our family. We spent the day with family and friends. Congrats Mason we love you!!

First Day of School

I am so slow at getting my pictures out. Things around here have been crazy. Ada had her adenoids out the end of July. She did well and her recovery was smooth. She is doing well and growing and saying new things. Cole and Mason both had birthdays in August. Mason turned eight and will be baptized on Saturday. I can't believe he is that old. He had his bishop's interview on Sunday and he seems ready. Sydney started first grade and Mason is in 2nd. Cole is going back to preschool. Between workout, therapy sessions, doctor visits, and work I would dare say that things are about the same around here.

He was out riding his bike an hour before the bus came because he was so excited. This is a huge improvement from last year, when we had to carry him on the bus kicking and screaming! Look at his cute cheezer face!

Happy Fourth of July!

I love fireworks! (And Megan, my sister in law) Ada could not get enough of Megan that night. Megan had her laughing so hard.
I love this baby!!!!!

We had a wonderful day spent with family. We went to Andy's grandma's house for a picnic during the day. He has a wonderful extended family. They had the traditional water fight and newly added the water slide. The kids had a ball. Andy and I managed to stay dry this year. Next we went to my parents for more food and the "Sidewalk of Fire!" Ada loved the fireworks .
It was a great time had by all. I have to say that I have the best family in the entire world. We have so much fun together. What one person doesn't think of, someone else will. My parents neighbors kept staring at us, I'm sure they were thinking that we are crazy!! (And we are!)

Duck, Duck, GOOSE gone Wild!!

Cousin Jake and Ada just chillin, loving playing together!

Another Surgery

I took Ada to see the Ear Nose and Throat doctor yesterday. He was very nice. After seeing Ada he suggested that we put tubes in her ears and remove her adenoids. He suggested that this would be the best route for Ada. She is scheduled for this on July 28. She will have to stay overnight. Hopefully it will really only be overnight. I dare say that I am gun shy on this. Last time they told me it would only be an overnight stay and it ended up being a months stay. But this is a simple procedure and she is a pro at having surgery right? It still doesn't make things easier. She has many new tricks. She is crawling all over! So much that she has already fallen down my stairs. (oops!) I have to get used to having her mobile. She says ,"DIS" (whats this?) and does the teensy weensy spider. She makes me laugh. She is so dang cute. The other kids are enjoying summer so far. Mason got to go to day camp with the cub scouts. He was so excited. He tried on his scout shirt for us last night in anticipation for the big day. He had to be at the neighbor's house at 6:50am. But don't worry he was up at 5:00am, "Is it time to go yet?" We packed him a lunch and sent him on his way. I cannot believe that he is this old. He turns 8 in August and will be baptised on Sept. 5. Oh my goodness! He is a good boy and I hope that he will stay that way.
